Giant Clematis

A backblip and not the best preserved flower as something has been munching holes in it plus its past its best BUT I thought this plant died the year we had the hosepipe ban (2007??) - it grows through the yellow winter flowering plant and this is the first flower or greenery I've noticed for a long time :)

My snail population has certainly decreased since I started rehousing them in the Church a LONG way away but I've got some giant slugs which are worse than snails, I've never seen such big ones (they went to the Church too) - I don't like putting down pellets in case cats or birds eat them and get sick or worse so I rehome them.
