Truck and Commercial Ferry

I've often wondered just what I'd find if I went across the main road instead of turning right to go to Crosby on Sunday's and this is it.
I suppose it is the old original dock road where the 'dockers' used to wait for work many years ago.
I must have been along this road many a time in the far distant past; but was delighted to see this Ferry I got a shot of the dark interior and if I can get a link to Flickr or Picasa I will.
It has just started to Thunder (Monday) here after a little sunshine; yesterday was ok but heavy rain late afternoon.
