Showtime!

First day out showing of the season at a local Spring Show ... the weather was terrible with heavy rain all morning ... so both Jensen and Johanna got soaked before entering the ring (and Johanna was in her full Spanish show gear too).

So here we have a wet looking Jensen.

For those who havent seen him blipped before, he's a PRE (Pura Raza Española) stallion and there are some clues to his lineage in this pic ... well yes he has the Spanish national colours on his browband; then he's shown in seretta (traditional way to show stallions in Spain - as opposed to bitted here in Scotland); he of course has the distinctive half-moon ears and finally - for the PRE purists - you can see the hare lip typical of his line.

We tanked in the show - finished last - but he behaved really well and in a mixed foreign breed class it's hit and miss ... not to worry though as this was a shakedown trip for the new rig prior to our next outing - his stallion grading before a breed society judge from Spain!
