The Best News......

The best news ever in the early am via text:

"My water broke, we are on our way to the hospital"

Well hip hip hooray! I was ecstatic and immediately grabbed the phone expecting to leave a voicemail. But oh no, she answered. On the way to the hospital, she answered, and it was so cool. They were so excited. I could feel her smile through the phone and could hear her husband singing as he was driving the car. What a happy and loving family getting ready to welcome their second child. Lucky baby and lucky family. Blessed.

We were able to get to the hospital that evening to meet little ms. adorable. And adorable she is. Teeny tiny. Just an itty bitty little baby girl completely content in her Mommy's arms. It reminded me of just how little our daughter was when she was born. And of course, Mommy looked beautiful and radiant as always. We are so excited to be a part of this new chapter in their lives. What a gift for the family. What a miracle!

Oh and a funny little detail, the text also described how little ms. baby girl waited until just after the second kiss on the balcony (Royal Wedding 3:30ish am) to start making her labor announcements.
