Metal Sculpture...

...and furniture.

This sculpture, "World's Largest Walk Thru Handbag", by local artist Ries Niemi has just been installed in the the Whatcom Museum Lightcatcher building courtyard. It stands 14 feet/4.3 meters high. I wonder if the artist is British -- over here it would normally be called a purse.

I didn't find it very appealing, but C likes it.
