Wednesday: Jack

Went to Whitechapel today for no particular reason other than that it is there. The name Whitechapel still has resonance and will for as long as the story of Jack The Ripper is alive.

In fact, while we are on the subject (did you like that neat little introduction?), this is the former Whitechapel Working Lads' Institute, a Victoria-era youth club for lads over 13 and the building where inquests were held into the murders of a number of Jack The Ripper's victims.  Unfortunately, it was far too sunny today to make the building look spooky.

This is a block of flats now - don't think I would particularly want to live there.......

On another note, I had my hair cut today so it now looks less like a furry pancake sat on my head.
