A sandwich sort of day....

....the bit in the middle was delicious, but I could frankly take or leave the bits either side.

I took the post-exam call from Nancy just as I walked into an important meeting; had to learn how her first exam had gone. Bated breath for the first few words and then relief to hear her describe how she might have 'refined her approach'.....I like the sound of 'refined approach'....it's a long way from "complete disaster". So, one down and six to go, I think she's gained a lot of confidence from this first one.

Respect to Raheny_eye for his prediction I wouldn't last 10 days with my comments turned off; eight days to be precise. I kept looking, so what's the point?

Pieminister chicken and tarragon pie, with peas, mash, gravy and crispy onions for tea. This was a Big Chill Festival favourite of mine on the Saturday night. Essential calories when I'd been dancing and imbibing for two days.
