Haigh Hall, Wigan

Had a couple of hours at Haigh Hall today which is a country park and manor, which was built around 1850.

Lovely day. Our dog, Hovis, can be quite a temperamental (or is that just mental?) Springer so I was a little apprehensive about taking him on a walk with my friend and her dog, Ruby, who is a placid, giddy labrador. Needn't have worried as they were the best of buddies, running about like maniacs and having a fab time.
