Happy Anniversary to me.

A year into my job and I have to say that I'm still loving it.

Yes, it has niggles;

not enough hours in the day to achieve all that I'd like to achieve,

not enough resources to provide all the experiences I'd want the kids to have,

and pay? well that goes without saying.


But I enjoy everyday working with the kids and my colleagues,

I've made many friends,

I never have a sinking feeling about going into work in the morning,

I feel valued and useful.


So at today's meeting where I was told that there will be lots of changes in the coming year,

I still feel that it's worth it and I look forward to being able to say the same thing a year from now.
