Tree peony
Our garden has so many good things to blip at the moment, but I chose this tree peony because it's a cantankerous old thing that flowers when it feels like and some years not at all. Its flowers are the size of dinner plates. It's also in Mia's flight path and occasionally gets trampled when there's the neighbour's cat to chase away.
I'm finding more and more that I enjoy shooting in the garden in low light. Flowers seem to have their own inner light, and that is enough.
Sorry for the lack of comments - too busy outdoors!
