Maissie sat on the fence staring motionless at the wood pile for a good 2 hours this morning. Fifteen minutes ago, I met her coming up the stairs with this little chap in her mouth.

After much coxing and grabbing we safely managed a rescue involving a tea towel and tupperware tub.

Joe and I let the mouse go across the road in the wild flowers by the canal. As there was no blood or punctures to the skin (just a wet head), I have high hope that he'lll live an long and happy life now!
