'Mantellot'

Well, what a glorious bank holiday Monday. Very unusual indeed.

My folks were over from Arran for the day and while at the allotment, my father rescued this 'Mantellot' from the compost heap. A very rare find, particularly for this time of year in Scotland.

We are keeping him in the shed at the garden and nursing him back to health. We'll let him go when the weather warms up.
