Not only to make sure that the job is done correctly but his mentor role for the Malaysian A/B's is even more important. They have to drain all his experience and knowlegde before he retires in a couple of years.
This shockline is allways used as part of our tow line configuaration. Shockload will always occur at sea with swell. This line is so flexible that it can easily absorp more or less all the shockloads in the tow wire without breaking. This wire has a breaking strength of 586 Tons when spliced as a grommet of double 16 inch circumference. So I am not too worried that this one will ever break as long as her condition is monitored like we're doing now.
