Eat Pray Love
Big family lunch at Roberto's brother's place. Gnocchi with ragu sauce, roast beef, Sicilian cannoli and pasticcini (small pastries).... yum yum yum!!
His brother shared lots of their family's holiday photos, which they mostly go via their caravan. Looks super fun! They've even driven as far as Seville in Spain! Unbelievable!
The nephew showed us his Spiderman suit but because it's too small so mum cut up the back and he'd still look like Spiderman from the front. Hilarious!
In late afternoon, we drove to Rivoli, a town next to Turin that is old and cute. We strolled through the town up to the castle (as shown in the photo) and the nephew provided us with lots of entertainment on the way. The view on the hill over Turin was lovely too.
Jesus rose today over 2000 years ago. I'm super joyful for the things that He had done in my life. It's simply impossible to live without Him. What I am sad about though, is how in many European "churches", some man-made saints and Mary, the mother of Jesus, could be celebrated above Him today.
He is the One, who defeated death and resurrected on the third day. He became poor so we may become rich. He was rejected, so we can be accepted. By His wounds, we are healed and whole. He died so we can live, and live to the full. All in the name of love.
