Garden Girl

The picture does'nt really show it, but we have another overcast, rainy, dreary day. The only time I went out of the house was to take this picture.

But, I went like a whirling dervish around the house today. Trying to prepare for Easter dinner at our house. Sweeping, mopping, vacuming, dusting. The whole nine yards.

The statue reminds me of my wife. She likes to smell the flowers. Whenever we get near tulips or roses or any fragrant flower...I make her bend over and smell it for a picture. I usually only take pictures of the flower girl when she has a raindrop hanging from her nose. It makes her look like she has a terrible cold.

The daffodils are the only spring flower that has come up around here. Ready for others to bloom.
