LILAC

A posthumous post as wasn't home much in the past few days. This is the program from the LILAC conference, where I spent the last few days. LILAC is an international librarians conference on information literacy. Don't know what that is, not shocking really, bit of jargon really, but it's all about how we librarians help you know what info you need, the best and easiest way to get it and the best way to use it, present it and manage it in an ethical manner (i.e. not declaring someone else's photo as your own).

It was a really great first day as was the rest of the conference, inspiring talks and I met some great people. Am predicting a busy summer as I implement some of the ideas from the conference.

And just to make sure there is still knitting, I knitted a lilac egg just in time for the conference.
