If I ever find the inventor of the car alarm ...

... I will not be shaking his hand.

We have an owl which is hanging around our neck of the woods, if indeed we can call the collection of trees which are behind our house. It is only recently that we have had such illustrious company and I dream of one day encountering this bird and goodness only knows, maybe even getting a paparrazzi shot of it. I hear it often while in the kitchen and I suppose this must strike fear into the heart of the little creatures but it reminds me of a book I read as a child and enjoyed passing onto the children, Sam and the Firefly. I also saw a heron on the way to work. No sign, thankfully of yesterday's rabbit.

The day before a holiday, for some is often one of trying to tidy up the stuff you wanted tidied up. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get round to the tidying up part, there were so many interesting things, passed on to me.

So early start tomorrow hopefully I shall be able to clear away the stuff and get some of the many todo list things struck off, once and for all.

Tonight we saw a man about a light in a garden, we will let there be light, at some point.
