The cruelty of nature

Today on the way home from work, I saw something which I have never seen before and something which I hope I shall never see again. There was a rabbit, if you are squeamish jump a paragraph or just go to the temperature, and it wasn't looking so good, especially around the eyes. And then a crow appeared and suddenly it all looked like a good example of nature at its most brutal. I was tempted to drive back and put it out of its misery.

Morning was very foggy, afternoon was so nice it was time for food in the garden with the number one son getting more confident in the spoon wielding stakes.

By the way the woman survived the snake encounter,
