18 Months

I love your little crazy curls,
Your giggles and your frowns,
I love your eyes
And your toothy grins,
I love your fingers,
Your knees and your feet,
I love your dimples
And your snotty nose,
I love your laughter,
Your tickles and your cuddles,
I love your songs,
And your joyful smiles,
I love being your mum

Katie at 18 months
She:
* Weighs 20lb 10 oz and is a 3 1/2 F in shoes
* has 7 teeth with another on the way (boy do I know about it)
* Climbs up stairs properly, not crawls up - when she wants to
* knows the difference between original Monkey and stand-in Monkey. And makes it clear her preferences on the matter
* has added "marmite, yogurt, harrison, flower, pretty, tree, bob-bob, kiki, aidy, carys, lyra, door, wiggly, bottle, open, two, three, potty, safe place" and more to her words - and "sophie" this afternoon
* Goes on the potty when she's ready for a wee (but doesnt often stay there long enough to do it on the potty!)
* has graduated from baby swimming and gymnastics
* makes a dinosaur noise with a hilarious action when she sees a picture of one
* is a climbing, garage-playing tomboy
* is a dolly-loving, gentle, mothering girly
* finds puddles even on the brightest of days

She likes
* looking at photos of her friends and naming them
* stroking, petting and seeing animals
* being out in the sunshine
* emptying and filling the washing machine
* carrying and filling little bags
* wearing her sunglasses
* drawing pictures and colouring in

She doesnt like
* big slides
* having socks on
* blackjack sweets
* Tim at church
* having messy fingers during meals
