Loch of The Lowes

Dear Father I have sinned, it has been ages since my last Blip.......

and even then I was too tired when I got back last night to upload it. Left Montrose for Troon at just after 6a.m., visit in Troon followed by one near Irvine and then back up the road, but not straight home, first a detour to a farm near Blairgowrie for a RHET cheque presentation and to get our pics taken for the paper! This detour off my normal route of Stilrling, Perth etc did give some good photo opportunities but the Stirling Castle ones were rejected as the sky was very hazy. There were some nice ones of the new calves on the farm and a nice close up of blackthorn flowers too, but I can always get others like that. However, with another slight detour and half a hour to kill before I had to be at my desination, I decided to drop into the visitors Centre at Loch of Lowes. It was shut as it was about 5.30pm by this time, but the hides were open and it was a beautiful evening. Lots to choose from but I picked this one as I liked the way the distant mountain drew your eye. Took a few of the webcam picture for the kids too, as Lady only had one egg when they visited with Gran and Brian last week, now she is sitting tight on three.
