parking lot gulls

these little guys were flying helter skelter around the local grocery store parking lot... why? i have no clue... is there water near? nope... so why would there be gulls around? no idea at all... isn't that just the strangest thing? mom said they're always around. soaring through the air - screeching and squawking away... not the best shot as i didn't have my regular camera so this is from my iphone and downloaded into my computer. but i thought they were cute.

another busy day today... we're spending a lot of time house hunting for mom. trying to find something suitable with a master bedroom on the main floor... along with a laundry room as well. we've found 2 houses and both ended up with contracts on them by the next morning before she could decide she wanted to move forward... sigh. now she's interested in another but unsure what to do. i understand as it's a ton of money she's looking at investing. but i don't want to see her disappointed yet again if this one ends up with a contract on it, too.

more errands tomorrow and some final house sorting to do. it's my last day here with mom.... the week's gone by fast. i leave friday already. it's been productive, though.
