I wanna Give, I'm completely positive
Damn you early morning sunshine, and birdies tweeting.
As I hung the washing out at 7.30 this morning, I was struck by the warmth in the air, and charmed into humming by a friendly Blackbird, singing it's wee heart out on a roof top near by.
Aha! I thought to myself, today is the day I will Cycle. I will cycle to work.
And on my bike and Off I went.
It was a bit nice, at that time in the morning. I cycled past Bunny rabbits, more blackbirds, Sky Larks, Crows, Rooks, Magpies, Chaffinches, Tits, Sparrows, Trains, Other Cyclist, and that was before I got out the estate.
Once on the golf course, then the hard work started. There were burns to stop and examine, new sunken lights in the path (very lovely). I stopped and looked at a bush that looked exactly like a bunny. Then I climbed the only really steep bit of the track - just after I passed a cylclist coming down it.
I panted to myself "i will make this, I will make this". It was a relatively short climb but steep, my little fat leggies were going as fast as they could, and as I made it to the top, I heard a noise at the side in the bushes, I glanced in as I began the turn to the descent. There was a man in the bushes. Not only that, a MAN with a Bike on his back!
Oh My god. I thought it was the cyclist I had just passed - coming after me, because I wasn't wearing lycra, I started to pedal, and pedal and pedal, despite being on the downward slope. I was panicking. I thought he was coming after me! This man did hills, with his bike on his bacK!
After I had cycled the next mile in about 2 minutes. I stopped. Not a soul in sight! Dang! Still I became prepared and fastened the camera round my neck - the purpose being to take a picture of any would be attacker.
It took me about 15 minutes to come too, once in the office. Thank God for new office, and nice Bathrooms (We almost all have one each - we definitely have a cubical each, and showers.
Then I set about my day's work, to build up my strength to come back home again.
30 Minutes!! 30 minutes is all it took me to cycle 4 miles. How cool is that?
