Cuckoo Flower

Cracking day today. Went for a walk along the canal seeking reflections but there was a bit of a breeze so no joy there. However, saw a pair of swallows (too fast to photograph), a heron (too shy - kept too far away) and a swan, on the nest (head down under wing). This humble flower was sufficiently static and the canal provided a good backdrop.
Shortly after coming home, I discovered that my car keys were missing. Must have had them when we came in but Andrew is away with the car so will have to wait till he returns so I can check it out. Not sure how but the damn things may be inside the car. Watch this space.
