White bird

OK I am not good with birds. I actually have no idea about birds.

This beautiful bird was fossicking for food amongst the grasses after I descended from a blustery climb to view Lake Viedma and to see the town of El Chalten. It was a great opportunity to try my newest lens, and to try and focus. The shots flying were not so good, but this one is fine. I am hoping to get more birdie shots on this trip to test it out.

If anyone knows what sort of bird it could be, great! They are not the most obliging of subjects.
