Ice cave

Today I went trekking on the Perito Morino glacier. Seven hours of walking through the moraines and on the glacier.

It was really hard to capture the size of the glacier. Thankfully the weather was good- not too cold and windy and not too bright and sunny.

We ate lunch on the glacier, which was amazing, but the best part was the ice cave and this is where I took this image. There was the most spectacular natural water feature running down a wall, and the light entering cast the most spectacular blue hue.

Even this image cannot make justice of the beauty. Well worth the trip just to see this cave. Getting out was another matter!
