A glimpse of the hill

A wonderfully sunny day, which involved a long spell of digging, raking and clipping at the allotment. We even applied a bit of sunscreen but despite that are both gently glowing the noo. (The ozone layer seems to have dropped out of the news lately, don't you think?)

Sadly, the allotment didn't look that much better after all our efforts. There are a few broad beans coming up and a short row of radishes. Oh, and the Victorian purple-podded peas are really going for it. But as for the dandelions that have bloomed in the last few days - their name is legion.

I tottered off to the supermarket at Meadowbank and on my way glimpsed several nice views of Arthurs Seat. This may be down Cambusnethan Street, although I have no idea how to pronounce that. Well, I can manage the "street" part.
