Motorhome Show

Spent the day at the Campervan and Motorhome Show. We've seen big ones, middle sized ones and small ones too. We've compared the Ford Transit Van with the VW Transporter conversion with the latter being our preference based on economy etc then we've looked at the different variations on layout and quality of conversions. Think we're close to making a decision... Now we just need to decide which car is going to be the one that is replaced for it and when we're going to do it.

We want to have a weekend in a VW on hire as part of making the final decision and I need to have a test drive even before that in an ordinary van to see if I like the drive. R has a big appreciation and liking of everything to do with VW so that's not an issue.

Several bits on the focus are up for renewal shortly as well as it is in need of a big service due to the mileage it's at... Decisions and soon I feel.

Very good and positive day though!! Lots to keep the grey matter ticking over nicely!
