Sunset by the river

Beautiful day today. After we got back from the rugby we went for a walk, which I thought would be our usual stroll round the village, but we went a bit further afield.

Ended up walking about 4/5 miles by the time we got home again. Long walk down to the river (Avon) with just the sound of birds singing, no people or cars to be heard. All very peaceful.

By the time we got to the river, the sun was beginning to set and the midges were coming out with a vengeance so we didn't stay too long - long enough to take some photos though. Lovely walk - we'll be doing that again!
