Promise

I have a rhubarb patch in my back garden. I love the beginnings of rhubarb in the spring--emerging lumps of red stalks, and wrinkly leaves. The promise of delicious rhubarb crumble makes my mouth water!

Today has been mostly sunny, though still a bit windy and cold. My daughter sat in the car, soaking up the sun, while I ran an errand for 20 minutes.
