York Minster
It is impossible for me to do justice to this building so I have not tried to show any photographs of its 50 to 76 foot high stained glass windows or any of the 200+ft tall towers or sweeping naves or transepts. But this crucifix hangs inside and I like the way the ray of light shines down on Jesus' head.
It is one of the largest gothic cathedrals in Europe (Milan is the largest, followed by Cologne) and contains many original pieces of medieval stained glass as well as gargoyles and grotesques galore. It is definately worth visiting though you will get a sore neck from gazing upwards.
