Committed

Yesterday I posted that Col and I have been together for two years. Our "anniversary" is actually today (drinking bubbly on a Saturday had way more appeal than a Sunday so we decided to celebrate a day early).

Last year we bought commitment rings. We're not married and have no plans to marry but wanted a way to demonstrate our commitment to one another so decided to wear rings. Some people love the idea. Others don't really get it, asking why we don't just get married. We have our reasons and whilst it wouldn't suit everyone, it's perfect for us.

I like to tell people I'm married "in here" *points to heart*

It took me a long time to find Mr Right, I'm glad I waited.....
