Sunday: First Day Out

A beautiful day so we went for a walk along the river.  

I do find it amazing how everyone seems to emerge from their winter hibernation en masse.  A week ago, the river's edge was still pretty quiet and, by contrast, today it is absolutely heaving.  I had to fight my way through to the ice-cream van and nearly got injured with my cornet as I retreated with my purchase!

Had a lovely lunch out too.  I have a vague memory of mentioning a diet on Friday - given the all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet yesterday, and various treats and snacks today, I seem to have forgotten all about it!  Damn blip for reminding me!

Perhaps not the best shot I took today, but the only one that can't be repeated at some point.  The bridge will hopefully still be there another day.....
