There are 2 things that man(woman, too) never gets tired of watching....fire and water.
This waterfall is called Looking Glass Falls. It's not a big stream on top, but when it makes the plunge, it turns magnificent. There is enough spray that you have to kind of watch your camera lens.
It is located just north of Brevard, North Carolina, on a winding road in a National Forest.
It is in an area where our dear friend Faye used to spend her summers. It also makes me a little sad becuase one of the last trips that my dad and I took with our friend Mike was to this area, seeing this waterfall and many others. We lost him to lung cancer last year.
We were kind of in a hurry to get home, so we had to pass by Smoky Mountain National Park. Maybe next time.
