This potted shrub sits at the top of my Nora Batty steps.
As in stone steps with a wrought iron railing?

Only ours are at the back door and not the front door.
Not quite as steep as Nora Batty's steps either and our house is not in Holmfirth, although not too far away in the county of Lancashire.

It's amazing how this insignificant shrub can be a bunch of twigs one day and then bursts into colour the next. The gorgeous weather we've been having is a contributing factor.
