Drip-blip

Gutted - internet crashed after I wrote-up the first attempt. I usually copy the txt before previewing, but seems I forgot!

Anyway, as I said on Thursday, I am in much better spirits today. Was in bed by 10PM last night, and had a much better sleep. Mathew was up again coughing and spluttering about 5, but it wasn't as bad as the night before, and we both got back to sleep again.

I went off to work in a much better frame of mind, having had a good night's sleep. Mathew phoned the hospital about 10ish, and they had a bed so he went in about 11. They haven't said how long they want him in for, but he's hoping to be out by Wednesday. He'll be on intra-veinous antibiotics for 2 weeks, but they often let him home to do them himself. This time round he's also been put on a drip to get his fluids up... he was very dehydrated. He was hooked to that machine for 8 hours, but hopefully it will just be that once. I decided I wanted to get the drip in shot, so he sat up a bit... and managed to bump his head on the control-pad for the bed :-D

(Not sure why he had it in such a weird position anyway?!?)
