Thomas
I had a really lovely day with H today. She has such a lovely temperament, and now that her vocabulary is improving, it's great being able to communicate with her.
We went to Gymboree this morning, and then went to get H's feet measured for new shoes at Clarks in Mothercare. She is currently wearing a 4 1/2F, and they measured her as a 5F, but were happy that she still has a good bit of room in the 4 1/2, so we have to go back in a month to get her checked again. Whilst in Mothercare, H got a little toy Samuel (bird from 3rd & Bird), and played on the Thomas the Tank Engine ride. I am a cheeky mummy though and didn't actually put any money in! She enjoyed it anyway, so why bother!
After Mothercare, we went to meet girls from my work for lunch, and then we went shopping. Whilst in M&S, H managed to lose Samuel. So that's a record - she only had him for 3 hours! Such a waste, but at least he wasn't expensive. She grabbed a pair of Peppa Pig sandshoes off a rail as we passed, and I tried one on her (size 5) and decided I would buy them for her holidays. However, she wouldn't let me put her normal shoe back on her and removed her sock in protest too. Cheeky monkey! I had to bribe her with a chocolate button to put her sock and shoe back on! She has been wearing the Peppa Pig shoes since we left the shops though.
