Cherry Blossom Pom Pom

All of a sudden the cherry blossom is out covering our big cherry tree with pom poms of white flowers - stunning today against the bluest of skies.

It's a Stella - lovely eating cherry but always a battle with the birds as to who gets to scoff them. Birds seem to like them a bit less ripe than humans - a clear evolutionary advantage.
