Dead Flower

There is something sad but beautiful about dead flowers. This one died just after mothers day. My sister thinks its bad luck to keep dead flowers in the house, but aren't they dead as soon as they're cut?

Am very lucky, my daughter isn't even two yet, but she still managed to get her granny and granddad to buy flowers for me from her! Granny said she text her request in! When they said kids start young using mobile phones, I thought I'd have a bit more time!!
