The last of a carrot cake. A rather large slice, but after tomorrow's planned long swim and cycle, it will be "Goldilocks size" - just right.

The cake was a present, or a "Thank You", for sorting out some broadband issues. When whole, it was huge, and at least half of it was sampled by various (willing) folk. The verdict was unanimous - "That's the best carrot cake I've ever tasted." And the baker had said it wasn't one of her better efforts. So what's a good one like?!

The recipe has been acquired, and shared. Those various testers will be adding the necessary ingredients to the weekend shopping lists. I'll give it a go in a week or two, though my abilities in such matters are, er, somewhat lacking...
