Who's There ?

Seems I have been writing rainy weather updates a lot just now. Weather very wet and miserable To add to the misery I am now confined to the house as the injury to my foot/ankle is not improving . The ankle is now strapped up and I am not allowed to walk on it.

John did drive me u to the village shop for the highlight of the week , The grand reopening of the refurbished shop , complete with a piper and a release of 200 balloons. WOW ! Don't we know how to live it up here in Argyll. Actually , all joking aside , there was a great atmosphere and a large number of villagers turned out to support our local shop keepers who are doing a great job for the village.

We also have a Ceilidh and Disco on Saturday night to celebrate the " Grand Opening " of our newly refurbished Village Hall. So much for dancing and here I am the Scottish Ceilidh dance teacher with a sore foot; no dancing for me.

Also no long walks up the hill or on the shore so I'll be stuck with bird shots if the lifht outside is right and nasty , marauding hawks and crows don't scare them away; failing that I will have to work at some still life or self portraits ( forget the sp , can't inflict that on you.

Anyway the siskins were the only birds brave enough to visit the garden today. Looks as if this wee one is very wary and watching out for the big bad birds!
