This fella was giving it his all. I respect and admire him.

He COULD think " I am one of millions, there are many better, I am shy, I don't know the words, my girlfriend might hate it, I am not one of the show crowd"

Maybe he thought them all. Whilst he sang.

You COULD sing as if noone's listening. OR sing as if the whole world IS listening.

And do it in your own inimitable style anyway.
