Molten gold
Enjoyed a mid day run today, and quite liked the close up shot I took of a large pink rose in Gribblehirst Park; one of the last flowers and showing its age. However, tonight's western sky capped all other efforts today.
Young L's big brother was off to Karate with Daddy; Mummy was being a met teacher at her school's Meet the Teacher evening, and Granny S has The Dog Eared Book Club meeting tonight. Grandpa was therefore on duty. Young L informed me that when he had his dinner he wanted it to be on the deck in the night.
This wasn't quite the night, and in fact the wind chill was a bit much for a three year old's body. We did sit outside for a while, long enough to see the sun go down, and for Grandpa to get this shot which will be the 8th time I have blipped a sunset from the deck in the four months and a bit I have been posting.
This one has much more blue sky than any of the others, and the clouds are more tossed (is the word that comes). This is a real cloud watcher's delight with the different types of cloud at different heights (to my untutored eye).
Young L looked at it, liked it, and went on with his play.
