Happy Mother's Day

B got breakfast in bed and then shot off to the gym for a work out and a pamper. The boys tidied up while I tried to make sense of all the programs that no longer worked on my new iMac....including Digital Photo professional, and most importantly and still unresolved....Freehand!! [Adobe have stopped supporting it with updates for new OS's - Argh!] Trying to find a fix on the internet.

Then we took the dog for a long run - rolled in fox pooh! - luckily, he has an appointment at the groomers tomorrow for full re-furb, but washing it off was NO fun!

Then, off to the pub with Mother-in-law and siblings-in-law et al, to celebrate Mothering Sunday. Sunday Lunch....well early Dinner actually - it was packed! - and the Yorkshire puddings were as big as bowling balls!!! - well almost. Very impressive. However, the real winner of the show was the Great Dane that wandered around the pub greeting everyone. He was very calm and well behaved, but I could tell some were not impressed. I guess there is a potential Hygiene issue but being a dog person, it didn't overly worry me. He was absolutely massive, biggest I've seen. A Horse!

Now allegedly, there have been studies done that show households with dogs suffer less from ailments than those without! I cannot provide you with statistics nor the even the summary of the research done because it is just hearsay on my part, but I know a man who knows a man who's wife's uncle is married to the sister of a chap who went to school with.....you get the gist! I might try and research it out myself!

So, a few beers, plenty of food and a good time had by all. I had quite a few shots I could have used for today's blip, but just could not resist showing you this lovely, big, mahoosive Great Dane. Excited about tomorrow....it's my 100th blip...Not a clue what to do...but that's the fun of it I guess!

Hope all you Ma's out there had a good day.
