Mothers' Day

iPhone blip today. I've taken several (technically better ones, on the DSLR) since this one, but this sums up my happiness really! Steve went out early to help set up PA for church. Before he left, he sent Ben up with a box of chocolates for me. And they weren't just any old chocolates, they were Prestat! Yum :D Tea was brewing in a teapt for me in the kitchen, and Ben was occupied with food so I got a bit of a lie-in as well.

Ben got his Peppa Pig spaceship juice beaker this morning to keep him quiet. The chocolate egg has been replaced in hiding and thankfully I've not been asked for it yet.

Lovely!

Made it to church, and it was a very special mothers' day for me and for another couple of mums for all different reasons but it was SO lovely to be able to share in each others' happiness today.

My mum and dad are here now, they are going to be looking after Ben Tuesday and Wednesday while Steve and I go away to a conference - it'll be the first night for Ben without me for over 2 years. Going to be weird for both of us - Grandma and Grandad will be tired by Wednesday I imagine.

So Steve is now doing the tiling that he was supposed to be doing yesterday but ended up doing wiring instead, and I'm going to put some belly pork in the oven :) Yum yum!
