Prickly

Things are getting a bit prickly in work. As we wait to hear whether or not we have won the new contracts, people are becoming restless and growing more and more concerned about the possibility of TUPE or redundancy.

I find it interesting that when people are under pressure of feel threatened, they adopt a state of self preservation, even at the expense of others. I suppose it's an instinctive animal reaction but it doesn't make for a very pleasant workplace.
