Stepping Out

Went to the cinema this evening. It's been absolutely ages since I went to the cinema, especially mid week.

We saw a film called 'Limitless' which is about an uninspired novelist who takes a newly designed wonder drug (NZT) to free the 80% of his mind that he isn't using.

I really enjoyed the film. It was pacey, stylish and intriguing. I thought the lead, Bradley Cooper was excellent and De Niro played his (smaller) part really well.

So you can imagine my disappointment when I read the reviews after the film and most of them rated it as average. That always makes me feel like a) I'm easily pleased b) I'm a poor critic and c) I completely missed the flaws.

So I'm off to score some NZT to help me with my film appreciation. The affect it has on you looks bloody marvellous!
