April Fool

Not having a good day here.

Last night my daughter was playing in the Swing Band as part of the school music festival.....and very good she was too even though she doesn't believe it. Didn't get back till late and sat up late having a chat to wind down after the show. Woke up this morning with my daughter running through asking if the clocks were right. We had all overslept by 45 minutes. We NEVER sleep in. At first she thought we were playing an April Fools joke on her. Anyway, mad rush, hubby had to run her to school, he missed a phone call about a prospective job (which I have now had to deal with) and he was late to collect his friend for golf.

Hate days like this as I feel everything is taking twice as long to do and I am behind with everything. At least school stops today for two weeks. As March was so hectic I think we all need the break from routine.

This was one of the pieces of music she was playing. I blame it for today's chaos!
