Hat
17 months 10 days
Katie at breakfast this morning declared her book to be a hat. Of course.
Busy day today, we had Harrison and Aiden all day. We picked them up and went straight to Montessori. Katie and Harrison enjoyed doing some glue-paint pictures, Harrison especially as the collage bits were all thomas the tank characters. Katie and Aiden spent ages sat in the pasta tray - it was nice that they put it on the floor again, after ages of it being up on a stand, so too high for Katie.
Aiden zonked as soon as we set off home, so I got Harrison and Katie fed. They then had a bonkers half hour, practically bouncing off the walls. They were being very lovely to each other though. Until Harrison got a bit excited and bit Katie. She was close to sleepy time anyway so that was the final straw, bless her! Mummy cuddles and up to bed.
When she woke up, Jack and his mummy had arrived to join the fun - yup, four babies in the lounge. Jack's mummy brought chocolate. I was very grateful. Before they left, Cousin 2 and mum arrived for a brief visit. A very full lounge at this point, but Jack and mummy left shortly after. Katie was really chuffed to see her cousin, she's not seen her in a few weeks, which is a long time for her.
After Aiden's tea, it wasn't very long before we took the boys home. Katie's had her tea and is currently dressing Tinky Winky in a bib and wrapping him in a blanket. Mummy is seriously feeling the pain, having pretended it didn't exist for the duration of the day. But all the kids had fun, so hey ho! Katie's had a wonderful day, but was very pleased to have her mummy all to herself too, and kept coming up and giving me extra big cuddles.
