Hugo wins award

This week he was awarded the accolade of being the most improved player in the Herts. County U15 Badminton Squad. He received a very impressive trophy with his name already engraved on it.

The thing that makes it so special is that he knows the people whose names are on it from earlier years. He joins a roll call of very eminent badminton players! A portent of things to come perhaps?

With commitment, effort and discipline - then maybe. His coaches believe in his potential.

Anyway - its always nice to receive recognition for something.

Now where are the trophies for the hundreds of mums and dads out there driving to the far flung corners of the country nearly every weekend and driving back and forth to training four nights a week?
