Most photographed village in Essex

This is Finchingfield duck pond, regularly appears in Essex calendars, magazines and travel programmes. Usually without the parked cars!
We made a ride out here for coffee this morning as part of our training schedule, well that's the excuse.
The weather station was delivered this afternoon, looks like a complete new one, so they couldn't resolve the problem I suppose. That looks like tomorrow's job, up the ladder and refitting the wind instrument.
Talking of weather - it's now grey and foggy - maybe we've had our good spell and it will be normal February weather from now on.
